Multiple Geographic Locations

DiveCloud tests can be run with traffic generated from different geographical locations.

Currently the following regions are supported:

  • Central Europe (Frankfurt)
  • Western Europe (Ireland)
  • Northwest North America (Oregon)
  • Northeast North America (Virginia)
  • Southwest North America (California)
  • Ohio
  • South America (São Paulo)
  • Northeast Asia (Tokyo)
  • Southeast Asia (Singapore)
  • Australia (Sidney)
  • Central Canada
  • Paris
  • London
  • Seoul
  • Mumbai

Regions can be selected during test plan creation. Multiple regions can be selected in a single plan, and percentages of users can be assigned to each region, as shown in the Figure below.

For example a test has 1000 users, and it is spread over 4 geographies as in the example below.

When the test is executed, 200 users will be generating traffic from Central Europe, 300 from Northeast North America, 400 from Southwest North America, and 100 from Southeast Asia.

When looking at the results there will be an Overview of all the regions, and a tab for each region.

The tab can also compare the average response times of each region.
