HTTP requests can be modified in many ways, so that any time they are called a slightly different request is submitted.

URL's can be modified by using metacharacters in the path, as shown in the picture below. A list of metacharacters available and how they work is displayed in the page. 



The method above will generate sequences of alphanumeric characters, in totally random order. 

In some cases, though, the values can not be completely random. 

In this case, it is possible to upload a CSV file with a list of acceptable values, as shown in the image below. In this case, we have created a variable FixedValues, and have associated the file to it.


Every field in the request can be edited and randomized, including HEADERS and REQUEST DATA. For more information on how to edit HEADERS and REQUEST DATA, please check the Data Correlation and Parameterization help page
