New Relic Nouvola Plugin

How to install the Nouvola Plugin

In order to install the plugin you need to have a New Relic account (any type of account) and follow the instruction below:

Nouvola Plugin

How to use the Plugin

Once it is installed, any test run from the DiveCloud account will automatically upload the results also in the New Relic Nouvola Dashboard.

Note: If you want to suspend it, go to the DiveCloud Account page, in the API & Keys tab, and remove the New Relic License Key information from the field.

It will normally take a few minutes after the test completion, before the results will be displayed in the New Relic dashboard.

Here is an example of a New Relic Nouvola Dashboard:

There are 4 tabs for the Nouvola Dashboard:

  • Overview
  • Total Times Detailed
  • Server/Backend Times-Detailed
  • Errors

Overview

The overview Tab displays similar information to what is found in the AVERAGE RESPONSE TIMES BREAKDOWN graph in DiveCloud:

The information that in DiveCloud is displayed in one graph, here is shown in two separate graphs, one for values close to the Total Load Time, and some with values related to back-end operations.

The data displayed here refer to average response times.

Total Times Detailed

This tab provides additional information with respect to the Total Load Times graph in the Overview tab.

Here one can also see the graphs showing the min and max values, and not just the average.

Server/Backend Times-Detailed

This tab is very similar to the previous one, and provides additional information with respect to the Server/Backend Times graph that was displayed in the Overview tab.

Here one can also see the graphs showing the min and max values, and not just the average.

Errors

This tab will show the errors (4xx and 5xx) that might have been detected during the test execution.

If there are no errors, this tab will be empty
